At Airport Road, runners will turn left and run west on Airport Road to the intersection with U.S. Highway 89 where runners will turn left again and run south for about a block and then veer right onto Seventh Avenue N.W. The one-mile fun walk/run will be on the Choteau Soroptimists walking path and neighborhood streets east of the Choteau City Park.
The 5K race will be stopwatch-timed by volunteers. To increase accuracy in timing, race organizers ask that participants stay in their finish order until their bib tags are collected.
The one-mile fun walk/run will only have the top five runners’ times recorded.
Prizes will be awarded to the first-place 5K men’s and women’s finishers in the 0-40, and 41 and older age groups. Prizes will also be awarded to the first-place 1-mile men’s and women’s finishers. There will also be a drawing for door prizes after the 5K race finishes. Runners must be present to win.
