Got Grit Race Registrations Now Open!

Ready to get dirty, have lots of laughs and challenge your strength, agility and speed?

2015 Got Grit? Registrations are now open! Come and join us for a 5K race with a bit of boot camp thrown in.

Organized by city of Choteau volunteers, Got Grit? 2015 is a mud run, walk and crawl through a three-mile obstacle course, featuring 25 different obstacles. It involves getting dirty, having a lot of laughs and challenges participants’ strength, agility and speed.

Race Director Heather Hodgskiss says, “It is a combination of a boot camp meeting with 5K race.” This year we will add more fun challenging obstacles -there will be more mud then EVER…so be sure to not wear your best shoes!

Don’t forget, there is a costume content – go to the thrift store, dig in your closet, be creative – so you can win!

  • 1st place male and female finisher,
  • dirtiest finisher
  • cleanest finisher
  • filthiest family

After the race join us in the Microbrew Beer Garden and Bluegrass concert featuring Two Bit Franks. Participants receive a free coupon to enter the beer garden plus one free drink ticket. So bring change of clothes, so you can sit back and enjoy the music or dance your grit off!

The first 50 participants to cross the finish line WILL be timed, so if you want your name in the paper, you better be fast!

A potion of the race funds will go towards the Choteau City Walking Path. The Choteau Soroptimist is raising money to pave the current walking path, which will be a real asset for the community!
