It bums me out that the race is on Sunday this year. I do all the local Saturday races!!!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. I’ve done the Got Grit ever since the beginning, but I won’t do a Sunday race. I actually tried to get a hold of the race director before registration to see if they’d change it to July 2, like during the first Got Grit, but the website wouldn’t let me leave a comment. I kept getting errors. 🙁

Sad, I was hoping that the Got Grit would be on Saturday since July 3 is on a Sunday (like it’s first year), I guess it will be my first year since the beginning that I will not be running. All you mudders have fun

I feel the same….it’s too bad it is on sunday. Would be better if it was on Saturday. But I also understand that I’m probably in minority.

It’s too bad the race is on Sunday but we don’t control when the 4th is. There are other activities planned for Saturday, and the race has always been advertised as occurring on July 3rd , what ever day of the week it falls on. Next year it won’t be on Sunday.
