Got Grit? 2013 – Regrister Online Now!!!!

Got Grit? is the next upcoming race in Choteau and will be held on July 3rd @ 2:00 p.m., come join in the fun - we dare you!  Registration is up and running, so register now to be sure and get a shirt. Starts and ends at the Choteau City Park. Cost $35 an individual.  Race day registration will start at 11:00 a.m. and go until 1:00 a.m. This year the course route has changed, it will end in the Choteau City Park….so bring a change of clothes to watch the concert following the race!

This race is sure to bring out the kid in you!  There are 25 obstacles, including through the spider rope maze, going down the slip and slide (watch out for the cactus at the end- ouch!), wallowing in mud pits, crossing through Spring Creek culvert, jumping on car hoods and much, much more child-like behavior.  There will be first place prize’s awarded to the number one male & female (one’s to go home and brag about, of course).  But even if you are not the fastest participant on the block, you can compete for other awards, including: Oldest Participant Award, Dirtiest Person Award, Cleanest Person Award and Filthiest Family Award.  Oh, and one more category, Best Costume Award. So go out to your local thrift store and find your best awe-inspiring, got grit costume.  If you leave this race without a smile, you must have been at the wrong race! Let Freedom Run 2013   Online registration soon to come!!!

Grizzly Activity Inc. is again sponsoring the “Let Freedom Run” one-mile and 5K run/walks, starting in the Choteau City Park on July 4, 2013. The race is open to all ages. Parents are advised that the one-mile course is mostly on gravel so baby strollers are discouraged. Registration forms will be available at the Choteau Acantha and other Choteau businesses and participants will be able to register online at www.runchoteau.com (starting on May 10th). Race-day registration starts at 6:30 a.m. The races start at 8 a.m. For more information, call Melody Martinsen at 466-2403 or e-mail her.
